Version 0.9.3 does not work with drum sounds. The fluid synthesizer wants to see
a drum instrument always on midi channel 9 (counted from zero).
This is fixed in a later version.
The current svn head version also has a new palette to ease drum input:
- select a note/rest on a drum staff and the palette will be filled
with all defined instruments from the associated drumset
- in note input mode select a note duration and an drum instrument
from the drum palette
- now you can type A-G to insert a drum note at the current position,
the actual letter does not matter as a drumnote has no pitch
- mouse input allows setting the selected drum note
All this is somewhat experimental and needs more testing.
