Dragon Rider, by Cornelia Funke

I just recently read this aloud to my niece and nephew and it was rather cute. If you don't know it's about a dragon called Firedrake and his brownie named Sorrel who find and adopt an orphaned boy named Ben while on a journey to find a new home for the dragons. They head off in search of the Rim of Heaven and have adventures along the way. Has anyone read this book?

Sounds cool. I haven't read it, but I know we have lots of copies of it at the library. Maybe I'll look into that one soon. Adventure stories are always fun, and I like the sound of the plot otherwise (not much like other stuff I've read lately).

Yea if you're in the mood for an adventure this is a good one to read it's light hearted and kinda fun as adventures go. Of course I was reading it with goofy voices, random tickles, and countless other little things that kids love. D.
