You can now download the handbook in pdf in each language via
http://www.musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/pdfbooks/MuseScore-en.pdf
http://www.musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/pdfbooks/MuseScore-de.pdf
http://www.musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/pdfbooks/MuseScore-es.pdf
http://www.musescore.org/sites/musescore.org/files/pdfbooks/MuseScore-fr.pdf

The handbooks on musescore.org are written in wiki style, so if you find wrong information don't hesitate to post a message in the documentation forum (http://musescore.org/en/forum/8) or change it directly by editing the handbook page. The handbook pdfs are refreshed daily.

The pdf could still use some layout improvements, so if you have some ideas, don't hesitate to leave a comment.

A part in which the handbook pdf's can be enhancement is the header.
If someone feels confident in creating a simple mockup and delivering it as HTML/CSS, I can easily work this into the theming template of the pdf output.

-> mscore/manual/MuseScore-*.pdf are missing.
How shall we proceed committing the handbooks in the svn. I presume it can be done manually.

I am in the process of updating the copyright file for the Debian
packages, and so that I can keep the handbook pdfs in the tree, I need
to know how the files are generated, and from what source, in as much
detail and precision as possible. Can you enlighten me on this?

Thanks,

Toby
