Thanks to the hard work from our documentation contributors and editors we finally managed to update and extend existing documentation to cover the changes introduced by the 3.3 PLIPs... even before Plone 3.3 is released!

I'm very happy and excited about that, because it proves that we CAN keep documentation up to date, and coordinate with the development team to do so. I'd like to deeply thank all the people involved in the effort - more than 9 in total. Without your help this would have never been possible.

We're simultaneuslly working to reorganize current documentation into comprehensive manuals and write documentation for not well covered features. If any of you (list suscribers and friends!) are interested in helping to make Plone the best documented CMS ever, contact us!

Keep up good work. :-)

Amazing effort, guys! I never thought I'd see the day...

Where can we see this documentation?

Cheers,
Martin

Amazing effort, guys! I never thought I'd see the day...

Where can we see this documentation?

We want to publish the new documentation just before or shortly after Plone 3.3 (final) is released, althought some updated docs have already been published - we should look at this closely in a future. Maybe publishing the updates after a release candidate is released isn't confusing as long as we indicate that the updates are only valid for the next Plone (x.y) release.

A list of updated/created documents (most of them are still in draft state):
Enjoy!
