Display Textitems

I wonder if it is possible to display Textitems with UDIG and how to construct them. Can anybody give a hint?

Try the walkthrough 1 - it shows how to turn on labeling in the style
editor.
When printing you can also add labels and titles to the page.

In what way do you mean "text items" ?
