Lucy shocks everyone by returning to Oakdale; Janet must cover Carly's mistake; Craig is not pleased with Parker's decision.

I'm liking Janet more and more as time goes on.  I disliked her intensely when she first arrived in Oakdale, but she's grown on me, and now she's one of my favorite characters on ATWT (after Luke and Noah! LOL). She's funny at times, and yet can be very serioius as she was today when helping Carly get out of her drunken stupor.  Quite ironic that she and Carly have become friends, although it's not certain how long that will last.

Parker continues to be a jerk, Dusty needs to get a life, and Craig continues to be his undependable self.  It was a bit of a stretch that Lucy was released because Dusty claimed Johnny was in his custody at the time Lucy left with the boy.

But I like Meg!  I know I'm in a minority with that.  If they would give her better material and a better love interest, maybe others would like her, too!  So a Meg-free day is not a good one for me.  Just get rid of PAUL!!    LOL

I whole-heartedly agree with you about Janet, Snyder Fan

when Juicy first showed up, it was as if she were trying a little too hard to be the hot Italian mama with her manicotti and her tiramisu (although i like that she cooks), but over time she has grown on me enormously. I think she is flawed but vulnerable and gutsy and earthy and human - she is actually one of the few characters that is interesting

early on, I really liked when she and Carly were becoming friends since I think they are both so multi-dimensional and feisty and there is room for conflict, but also mutual respect... so I hated when the writers suddenly had Carly start hating her (it made no sense, since Carly originally thought Janet was good for Jack)

that the writers have once again changed tactics and are making them cautious allies is a good thing... those Snyder (by marriage) girls have chemistry

LOL, Dave!!  Unfortunately, where there is Meg there has been Paul for the last couple of years!  And Meg behaves around Dusty almost the same as around Paul.  Since Dusty and Paul are different people, I would expect Meg to act differently, but she doesn't.  I think Holden knows his sister better than Meg knows herself!!  Is it too much to ask for a little originality here??  Could Meg also project her voice and stop mumbling??  That is all I ask!!  LOL

Well, I guess by now, everyone knows that I'm not a Meg-fan. And for me, it's more than the way her character and dialog have been written. I don't think she's a very good actress. Mumbling aside, she just lacks "something" that seems necessary to give her character depth or flair. (And her chuckling gets on my nerves too!) On Friday, when she and Dusty were at same movie (did you notice that there wasn't anyone else in that theater?), and she started pitching popcorn at him -- I just found that scene stupid. Perhaps a better actress could have pulled it off more playfully and convincingly. (Of course, Dusty wasn't much help in that scene either.) I don't know -- we all have our favorites as well as our least favorites. Paul and Meg remain at the top of my Least Favorite List.

Couldn't disagree more with you about Marie Wilson.  I respect that you have a differing opinion about her, but her acting ability (or lack of it) isn't the issue.  It's the story line that the writers write for her.  If the writers gave her a better story and lines to speak, you might find the depth or flair that you're looking for. And as far as the mumbling is concerned, if you really listen carefully, you'll notice a lot of the actors on the show don't speak clearly at times.  We are constantly turning the volume up and down depending on who's speaking, and the circumstances in the s/l that demand a softer or normal voice.

I only caught the recap today, but the explanation that was given for Lucy to be freed was rediculous.  If it was that simple, why did Dusty and Lucy not do this in the first place.  I always thought it was odd that Lucy was going to get charged with kidnapping when Dusty had legal custody at the time.
