Just thought it might help to know - if you have DLA or disabled status - what there is out there that might help life to be a bit more comfortable?

My first thought was the Cinema Exhibitors Assoc pass card that for a payment of £5.50 entitles a disabled person to have a carer accompany them into the cinema for free basically making each ticket half price. The web page with info and a downloadable form is www.ceacard.co.uk

I joined my local zoo and thats the same principle but I pay the single annual charge and a carer comes in for free.

The National Trust is another organisation offering something similar.

Theres also a scheme thru the government offering insulation, heating and even solar panels and thats thru something called The Warm Front Team I think?

If you have any suggestions please let us know so others can maybe benefit
