666 and the mark of the beast is the severest warning you will find in the entire Bible but today there is a massive number of interpretations on what 666 and the mark of the beast is. Most people believe that 666 is the mark of the beast but note closely that Revelation 13:17 says, "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
Did you note that the mark of the beast is different to the number of his name being 666, which is the number of a man? The day will come when all people will get either the mark, the name, or the number. This doesn't mean that the government will say someday, "Do you want the mark, the name, or the number?"
An internet search today on “who is the antichrist” will reveal anything from the star of the Baywatch TV series to the president of the USA.God’s Word does not instruct us to make ridiculous wild guesses or any guesses for that matter as to what we think Bible prophecy says, in fact we are specifically told in 2 Peter 1:20 “
…that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
One good key to understanding Bible prophecy is laid out in the principle of the following verse: Isaiah 28:10 “
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
For about a month now reports have come in from about four different locations around the United States of a bright flash then a loud boom followed by shaking windows and entire homes.
The first report, about 3 weeks ago, came from southern California at 9:15 p.m. followed exactly 12 hours later by reports from the Bay area of the same phenomenon at 9:15 a.m.
Since then I set up a Google alert for the terms "loud boom" that sends me an email every time these terms hit the web. Tonight an identical report comes from the east coast and just as the other reports stated, there is no explanation for the event. -
