Good day,

I hope this is not a repost and if it is please show me where to look because I couldn't find it.

When a user logs in (s)he ends up at the last page that was visited on the site, resulting quite often in "not enough privileges".

The user can still go to the folders (s)he has access to but it is just annoying that they land on a page that gives them an error message.....

So is there a way to define the page a user goes to after login?
(and not talking about the home folder because that method is NOT what I am looking for.

Kind regards,
Tom

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Look at /portal_skins/plone_login/login_next

Regards… Jim

Good day Jim (and the rest),

I figured that one out and have been experimenting a bit with directing users but I can not seem to get it right... would it be possible to post your version of login_next.cpy ?

Greetings,
Tom

I haven’t customized my login_next.  I’m just suggesting that you look at that script as a possible solution to your need.
