Deegree source code debug

Hi friends
 I have downloaded the deegree 2.2  from the deegree  site .I have Unzipped  the folder ,
Now i want to execute  it and  also debug deegree 2.2 source code..

Please tell me the steps for the execution and debug tthrough the source code of deegree 2.2.Is there any facitity or tools available to debug .


Note:-The deegree version is 2.2
