DXF Import

Hi,

my customer asked me to Import DXF Files into my little GIS Application
based on geotools 2.4.
Is there a way to create a feature source from DXF?

Could you please point me in the right direction?

Hi Rainer,

As far as i know it's not a format that is supported directly by GeoTools.

There is a DXF import function in JGrass that you might want to look
at. Some info is here...

Other than that, a bit of googling will find some open source Java CAD
libraries and DXF to shapefile converters.

Hopefully, someone else here might have a better suggestion.
