Hi everyone,
I met up with Steven from substance.coop - our venue - yesterday and
this is all good to go.
I'm going to announce the meeting to the world.
Anyone who wants too help out could populate this wiki page some more:
http://dfey.org/wiki/Manchester,_August_2009Create a facebook event for it, create an upcoming event about it.
Post the wiki link it to fsdaily.com
publicise it on indiemedia.org.uk
post it to fss.union.shef.ac.uk
publicise in on ##teenlinux and #teensonlinux irc channels and any other
place you think might be interested
Might be worth drawing a bit from here:
http://groups.fsf.org/wiki/Manchester/Meetings/Publicitywhich is where manchester free software group reguarly publicise
meetings to.
I'll post this to many mailing lists I think might be interested.
If you've any thoughts on how to get this meeting more publicity, feel
free to suggest something or JUST DO IT! :)
Cheers,
Tim
