Looked like a place to take the GSP and let her work her magic. I found some cool stuff, some I dont know what is. If you have any ideas what the little measuring cap was or who the lady on the little old pendant is, let me know. The other stuff included a 1924 wheat, General service eagle button, and a 32 cal. rimfire shell casing. Had allot of fun and the GSP performed flawlessly.

Hi John,

Those are some good old finds there,  More than enough to make one go back and detect this particular site.

I am be way off course on the miniature measuring container but here goes what I feel it may be,  A miniature cup for gun powder or maybe some type of strong poisonous ingredient?

Look carefully at the slots on the outside and they alien perfectly with the measuring symbols,  If the slots can be viewed from the inside they may be used to judge the proper measuring amount using the slots from the inside.

The old pendant is a really neat find,  These types of finds seldom surface and maybe the site will give up more old jewelry.  Maybe an old gold ring in there

Congrats!

Hi John, some really great finds there! I was guessing the same thing as Paul about that small measuring device. It looks like something to measure gunpowder for someone that makes their own reloads. That pendant is really cool, that button and the wheat cent are also awesome finds, now that shell casing is more up my alley as I've found more than a few (lol). Great job and thanks for posting your finds!
