Four coats of base, six coats of candy, and two coats of clear to lock it down for sanding and flames.

Ready to be pinstriped, only an inter-coat clear coat is on the parts right now. It will be sanded then pinstriped.

Final clear. From here it will dry a couple of days before sanding and buffing.

After block sanding the six coats of clear with 600 then 1000 grit, it was finish sanded with 1500, 2000, then with 4000. The parts were buffed out with 3M products, a wool pad for compounding, then foam polishing and finishing. Over 40 hours went into this job from start to finish.
