I hope everyone is aware that conservativism has it's roots in religion. The Founders of this great or once great land were schooled in places like Harvard, who, at the time held rules that declared: Let every student be plainly instucted and earnestly pressed to consider well the main end of his life and studies is to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life (John 17:3) and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdom, let every one seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of Him (Prov. 2,3). Every one shall so exercise himself in reading the Scriptures twice a day that he shall be ready to give such an account of his profieiency therein. The many quotes of our founders on the only foundation for a republiv is to be in morality and religion. This is the conservativism the country desperately needs to return to. Remember it was the Puritans who first came to this land and they established the first contract known as the Mayflower Compact.
It will take a miracle to restore this country, it can be done but we have alot of work ahead of us. Politics is full of lies and deception which makes it very difficult for the average voter to make an educated choice. Benjamin Franklin stated in 1776 that if a sparrow cannot fall without Gods notice is it probable a country can rise without His aid? He did not leave us, we have left him. Seperation Church & State 1947, Prayer out of schools 1962, Evolution introduced 1925. These things and many others that have proceeded them have been the decline of the morality and introduction of confusion and chaos in this country. Factions such as the ACLU and others continue to to chip away at what liberties we have wanting to remove every aspect of God from our country. This has got to stop. Now we have Obama and a House full of left wing democrats. The prediction for the next four years is not a good one, prepare for the worst and hope for the best. We need to pull together and restore this country to its foundational principles or we can forget it. This is conservativism.
