Compile the QGIS source code in vc++ (windows XP)

Dear All,
I am new to Qgis open source application.
I want to compile QGIS source code myself in Visual Studio 2008/VC++.
I have read some docs which is provided in QGIS home page . its bit confusing, can i get latest source code of qgis.

any help is appreciated..
