Another entry for the Band Organ page. It uses both the 216 and the 260 Miditzer and other stuff in my studio .colonelbogeymarch.mp3

If I didn't know better, I would have sworn this was a real band organ.   Brilliant sound, excellent registrations.

Thank you Joe. Thrilled about the Hauptwerk free edition and anxious to try it. Band Organ tunes will be a priority for me from now on and I'm wondering if it will be possible to detune the ranks with the 3/10 or 3/20. I would choose to get rid of the orchestral samples in use now and work with virtual pipe samples exclusively.

Hi Don,

Yes, Hauptwerk has facilities to detune ranks by fixed or random amounts as well as support for several temperments.   Outside of the USA, Haupwerk Advanced Edition also features a "Wind Model" which accurately simulates reservoir sag and other real life anomalies that impact tuning.

The Paramount samples will all be perfectly tuned to A440 equal temperment.  When played in perfect tune, ensembles frankly sound like hell, so it's a very good thing that HW can restore some imperfection!

You will also be very pleased with some of the new traps and effects in the Paramount organs.  The MIDI stop on each manual will also make it easy to drive an external sampler (maybe GSO for example).

Outstanding!!!  As a former docent at Sanfilippo's I can tell you that this is spot on to a real band organ.  Would you agree to having this posted on the organman.com website with the other 260 sample files??
