The question has been asked to me many times the past few years.  People have gone as far as to make T-Shirts.  I never took any of this serious, but now its got me thinking.

Sure! Why not? If we can have Former Actors in the White House, why not a NightLife producer as Mayor. You probably have the Multi-tasking skill-set required! If i were a Rhode Islander, I'd vote for you!

David Cicilline has done more for Providence than any Mayor in 20 years.
He has taken the city to a number 1 destination.  His police force headed by his hand selected Dean Esserman has done more to clean up and intoduce healthy programs to drug infested neighborhoods in Prov. than any Chief before him.
The Mayor has worked tirelessly since the 80's for LGBT people.  He has been on the Board of AIDS Project RI.  He was a vocal advocate along with Julia Pell and Marc Paige when our rights were givin to us in 1995.
Instead of RI Gays  always looking for ways of bringing down our BEST people with pettiness why not realize that David Cicilline is a man for all people... a man of the future.  We should be supporting him now and hopefully his run for state leadership and eventually Federal leadership where he will make a difference for us all.
