A "valid medical condition" is not a disability or a handicap, although it might be as in my state they pass out the handicapped parking decals like they are candy.

What is your hobby?

I had to laugh when i read you didn't want it.  I got mine as a new regular in 94.  The other snobbish regulars said "ooooh he's going to lose so much money", they chuckled  and the PM forced me to take it.   5 years later the PM said "you know you can return that thing if you want".   HAHAHAHA.   (i laughed in his face) I told him "I will NEVER under any circumstances drive my own vehicle EVER again"!   (and then i filled out a repair tag for something).   l6 years later the carriers that chuckled are on their third vehicle since then and are crashing and scratching and scraping and fixing and bouncing through potholes with them.   It would be cool to know how much money THEY lost since then.

you have to keep in mind that not all routes are bad to have a pov on.   mostly depending on the miles you drive.  it probably takes 50-60 miles a day to break even money wise, and the longer the route, the easier it is to keep a vehicle on ema. my route is over 100 miles daily, and i am hoping to add another 30-40 as a nearby route is eliminated.  i doubt the po would ever put an llv a such a long route.
i can't imagine taking an llv over the roads that i travel.  no 4x4, no air, no radio.  i have a rhd jeep with climate control, heated seats and mirrors and probably every other option available except the sunroof. (don't really care for the greenhouse effect)  -  you can keep the llv, and i'll be happy with my truck, and the extra money.  16 years of 300.00 a week  ema - you would be able to buy 3 new ones for work, and probably 3 more new ones for fun.

A carrier I used to work with had something called heat urticaria. One hot summer he started breaking out in hives and was having difficulty breathing. He was feeling faint and his blood pressure was very low. He ended up quitting the job because the doctor warned he could go into anaphylactic shock.

I understand that it's a pretty rare condition, but just wanted to say that there IS such a thing as heat allergy.

I am in Md. and we use chains on our llvs my postmaster told me that chains cannot be used in the ffvs (they look like llvs but have the window in the side) because of the way their brake lines are run
