All,

Donna and Don Kitch are bringing a group down on August 14 and I thought I'd spread the word since there are still open spots.

The event will be 325.00 includes a 15.00 lunch and drinks on site and a 25.00 bar-b-que after the event. They will be running two run groups and will not break for lunch, so lots of track time.  Instructors are also available for an additional cost.

Please contact Donna Kitch with any interest:  donkitchjr@cs.com

ProFormance runs great Track Days. Run Groups rotate every 1/2 hour= @3+ hours of track time/day. Great staff. Great Race Driver instructors. A great '$$~track' time deal. I'm usually lapped out before the days over but if you've got enough brake pad and rubber you can run all day. This is the same Don Kitch who just ran at Le Mans.
This is part of the ProFormance annual " Road Trip"...Thursday at PIR and Friday at ORP. This makes for an extremley enjoyable "Get 'yer ya ya's out" 2-day event.
P.s...I am not affiliated with ProFormance in any way. I'm just a fairly serious lapper whose Credit Card they keep on file...Check them out!

Proformance day was great
It was my firs time at ORP and what can I say -- this is exactly what the NW needs.
Kudos to the ownership group for what has been accomplished so far.
I will absolutely be back (as much as my wife will allow).
I know the facility is a work in progress but I found it to be a fine facility as it stands.
Thank you for having the vision and the balls to do something about it.
If you are reading this and have not been to ORP yet -- I would tell you that one day at ORP is better than 2 days at PR/PIR
Truly a "field of dreams - if you build it, they will come" feeling about it.
I only wish it was closer to Seattle :-)

Okay I will stop now, I am gushing...

got to run CCW in July, (yes, the hottest day for the summer).  and then CW in Sept.  (Strong wind, I had to wear my long sleeves the whole day)

I had that grin anytime I even think about the track...  By comparison, PR is a child's play and that PIR is just plain boring.

I really wished there's a little bit more supply around the track.  This is really not a track that you can afford to have accidents, quite unforgiving if you consider, say if you have an off and something fell or broke.

But then as it's in middle of nowhere, people won't care about my loud exhaust :)  and I love the scenery!!!

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Thanks for you input Bill. the track is certainly unforgiving of lapses of concentration but it also doesn't have much to run into, so the penalty for an error is a whole lot less than most tracks.
