Cannot connect to a network with airport on imac.

I installed the router WRT160.
Im able to go online from the computer if its connected to the router directly.
But when i'm connecting to the wireless network it says "there was an error joining the airport network"
What do i do now?

plz suggest.

first confirm that its a laptop or dektop
they recreat the profile and remove the preffered network and clear the keychain
it should work
