This Wednesday at 5:30 in the large conference room at the
Library, we’re having our monthly CSS meeting. Needless to say,
with the recent national events, ie bank failures etc., we really need to Step
it Up in our community. The price of food as well as all commodities will
be rising as the oil & gas prices raise to pay for all the new drilling. Not
to be a kill-joy, but now’s a Really Good Time for us to organize and
stick together! J
This Wednesday, we’re happy to have Gayle Weyher from the
Youth Garden Project presenting their brand new Community Sponsored Agriculture
(CSA), coming this Spring. On the subject of food, it would be awesome to
have others report on their findings & or knowledge of regionally available
food. We haven’t given up the idea of a co-op, and with new CSA’s
stepping up, our modus operandi can morph along with new developments.
ALSO: don’t miss the report of one of the
Transportation group exciting trip taken using Only used oil from whatever
source they could find – Ingenious and it smells good Too! Just
like French Fries – yummy -
If you haven’t had your monthly meeting with your
groups yet, you have between now & 5:30 on Wednesday to communicate about
Something so you can report back to the group! All input is welcome and
desirable.
See you there on Wednesday, Julianne
