I've heard alot about the secondary market collapsing.  I'm not really sure what that means, but I've heard that you can't get no money down loans anymore. Is that true?

Kimberly,

You can still get no money down loans, or 100% financing.  Programs are still available, and if you've not owned a home in the last 3 years the MHDC Bond Money program might be a perfect option for you.  Now it's not quite as easy as it was 2 years ago, but as long as you have a decent job history, and credit that is not completely in the toilet you should be okay.  If you have 5% or more down it will be to your advantage, but it is not necessarily needed.
The interest rates right now are outstanding, and there are alot of homes on the market, and many of the sellers are desperate, so don't be gun shy of shopping.  It is a strong buyer's market right now, and I don't know just how long that will last.
