that the contract be changed to adhere to oregon labor law in regards to a paid 10 minute break for the first 4 hours worked and an additional paid 10 minute break if the workday surpasses 6 hours
WHY DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT
employees in oregon recieve this benefit if they are not part of a collective bargaining agreement that has agreed otherwise. why should oregon rural carriers be punished by union negotiators who accept less than what this state requires of other employers?
