As much as I do not want to see Brad go...I am not into this "Ghost" movie mimick with Brad hanging around Katie ala Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.  Let Brad see his son and then let him move on.  Didn't we learn enough about stupid ghost stories through the Sophie mess???  The ghost is ruining the beauty of this whole death story.

I'm with you, JB. I don't find the Ghost o' Brad at all interesting -- this ploy only seems to be giving Henry more opportunities to act like a full-blown idiot! Enough, already!

I had the impression yesterday that the ghost s/l was coming to an end.  I completely agree, it's worn out its welcome.  That said, I think it was a good device for a brief time, and I think it worked well.  It got Henry moving, and the connection with Katie was good at that one moment.  However, if it continues, I'll groan!

Ghost is one of my favorite movies, but I am not caring too much for it here. I am hoping that katie will eventually forgive Henry, but I think that he needs to suffer for a while. I would like to see Katie connect with Brad before he moves on (like in the movie... that scene always makes me cry no matter how many times I see it). I would like Brad to see the baby and let Katie know that he will always be taking care of him, and maybe (if we are going to go the movie route) use Henry's body just so that he can experience holding the baby once before he moves on. I don't think that the Ghost storyline will last too long simply because we know that Austin is permanently leaving the show. Any news yet on where he'll end up next???

I actually haven't been watching this part of the show partly because it seems so recycled of Gophie.  I am starting to wonder if this show does not just have a few key concepts that they choose from every six months to a year and decide to write story around it.  Some of these key concepts would be:

Ghost
Faked death
People coming back from the dead
People trying to kill themselves by drowning in the Snyder Pond
Kidnappings
False sexual harassment

I have been watching the show for about 2 years now and have seen so many of these its just completely unbelievable.  Yes its a soap, the story lines are suppose to be unbelievable to an extent, but most other soaps at least have some grounding in reality and strive to not recycle the stories so often and so close after one another.  They usually give at least a few years before a baby switch or something of that nature.  This show has done all the above mentioned items 2 or more times in the last year, kidnapping in particular has been done at least 4 times.

HA! HA! Chris, I love your six-item list of story lines that are constantly being recycled! The "been there/done that school of creativity" -- that must be their alma mater!

Thanks, I try, lol.  I liked your line about the "been-there, done-that school".  I think many soaps have this issue.  I know DAYS loves a good babies switched at birth storyline but they try to only pull it off every 5 years to a decade.  Not sure about other soaps and reoccurring story lines.
