Joy, remote healing and distance healing are the same thing as far as I know. I used to be part of a faith that uses remote healing by placing names in a temple and then directing prayers via all the members. Names were only used once when they were placed in the envelope. The healing worked.
My stepdad told me when I was a teenager that I had Healing hands and that was way before I decided to go into nursing. I am not a recognised healer but I believe that I have the ability. I'd like to hear about your organision.
I'm not a christian anymore,I'm not anything. I believe there are energies that in the future will be measurable, until then we sit on the fringes of health care directing them as best as we can.
Rita, I've had a brief look at the Harry Edwards site.It looks interesing.
To avoid any offence may I suggest that when we submit a name for healing that we acknowledge our participation but without the need to repeat a list of names.. e.g.
"Healing energies are sent to those in need"
or "love and light to all who are named here" at least this way no one is forgotten and the loving energy of this book is maintained. Unless this is offensive in any way.
