I've played with Plone for more than a year now, and I have two books lying around here which both show up at least two methods how to install Plone. In the forum and on the plone website, there are even more ways how to install it.
I have used the Unified Installer for my test environment, and that works pretty good. But now I'm considering installing Plone on my server for production, but I simply don't know what's best for a production installation.
I found some information about buildout, this seems to be the preferred way. Anyway, there is good documentation available on plone.org, but I couldn't find anything providing an overview. So I'd like to ask you guys what you think is best - as soon as I have enough infrormation, I could also write some more documentation about that topic.
