Tounge Sculptors are the best local group in Philly.

I saw this band recently in Bristol called Substatic. They totally blew me away! They're a 5-piece electro dance outfit, dirty bass synths/ samples/ a violinist! and a really cool frontwoman - she has an incredible voice and totally owns the stage. Also, their drummer is insane!!!!  If anyone ever gets the chance to see these guys before they make it big -take it! Seriously, there's no one else out there like them at the moment.

Ok so its clearly not YOUR area, but here in Belfast there are a bunch of great bands as yet unsigned. If your at a loose end for a while on the internet check out Ed Zealous, Boathouse or Nanook on myspace, just google them to get a taste of whats going on in our tiny little city that has so much more to offer now than it ever did.
