Hi everybody, today we have published Axios uDig Extensions 1.1.0-rc7
for uDig 1.1 RC14.

I would like to highlight the following new features:

- A "Demo Panel" which presents a spatial operations sample.
- Ability to select the result layer's geometry.
- Spatial Join with a new option to select, on the source layer, the features
which fulfill the spatial relation specified by the user.

For install instructions, please, visit the next link:

http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/EN/Axios+uDig+Extensions

if you want to know more about this project, please, take a look at the
following page:

http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/COM/Spatial+Operations+and+Editing+Tools

cheers

Congratulations!  I'm looking forward to trying out this version. I do
have a question about update sites.

I figured out how to enable the "default update sites"  that are
shipped with uDig.  I am planning on
shipping uDig with the JGrass and Axios update sites added by
default.  Do you want be part of the
udig general community update site or do you want to have your own
update site?

Thanks,

Jesse

I think the "udig general community update site " is the better option for
Axios.

I guess you are going to think in the process to publish these components
(JGrass and Axios) . When you get the first idea about that,  please comment it
to adjust our release process.

Cheers

The Community site is fine as long as you realize that I can't keep it
up to date because I simply don't have the time.  If you can keep the
site up to date with regards to your plugins then that is fine by me.
