WHEREAS, It should be the goal of this association to continually inform and train its members
WHEREAS, The NRLCA does provide members copies of our written National Agreement.
WHEREAS, The USPS does make available manuals PS 603 and M38 in printed versions.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The NRLCA website make available to its membership MP3 audio files of these agreements and manuals. Starting with our National Agreement. These audio files may be downloaded free by its membership. If a member does not have access to the internet, copies of these books on tape or CD are made available to those members for the cost of production and mailing.
INTENT OF/REASON FOR CHANGE: Realizing the importance of a well informed membership and the value of this knowledge to our association. I feel it is imperative that we use all available means to accomplish this goal. I also realize the time that reading these documents takes, therefore by using modern technology our members could listen to these files at their leisure, increasing the base of knowledge of this association.
