| Subject: [Audacity-help] Audacity problem
| I am trying to use Audacity ver 1.2.6 and I am having some problems
| that I can't find in the faq. Any music that I open with Audacity, when
| I try to play it, plays at a very high speed. How can I adjust this speed
| back to normal? ... Audacity seems to work fine on my computer at
| work but not my home computer.
If the imported file only shows up as a fraction of a second long on the
timeline above the track, it probably isn't in a format that Audacity supports.
It may be that the the files you are importing into Audacity on your home
computer are not in the same format as those you are importing at work.
For more explanation and help in converting the files to WAV or AIFF so
that Audacity can import them properly, please see the relevant FAQ:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=files&i=wma-proprietaryShould the files you want to import come from iTunes, please see the
detailed help here:
