Hi, welcome to list :-)

For the application, the .pot file is here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/locale/audacity.pot

( For the web site, the .pot file is here:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/locale/audacity_website.pot )

It seems like you're the first one working on Asturian. Have you done
translations using po-files before?

Since you're starting on a new translation, you need to take the
"audacity.pot" file and rename it "ast.po" (note: po, not pot). Then
you can use PoEdit ( http://www.poedit.net/ ) or Virtaal (
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/virtaal/index haven't tried that
one, but they say it's better...) to open your "ast.po" file and get
translating.

Once you're done, you email it to gale at audacityteam.org  (I
think... or you could just email it to this list and someone will
commit your work). Please ask if you have any more questions!

best regards,
Kevin

Thank you very much for the information.

Yes, I'm the first in translate it on Asturian. But we are an
organization www.softastur.org who works translating free software to
Asturian language:

(Ubuntu, OpenOffice, aMule, GNOME, ... Poedit:
http://www.poedit.net/translations.php )

...so we'll don't have problems using it. xD

Thank you!
