Frank, Mr. Morissette,

Apparently, by speaking frankly, I may have offended you. Please accept
my excuses, for that was not my intent.

Because I have said too much already so that there is no more for me to
say here, it seems best that I leave this list.

good luck to all,
--adrian

Adrian,
I'd not want to see you leave as you are a valuable member of OSGeo.
Additionally I believe we are all robust enough here to talk frankly.

Jeroen is right too, less finger pointing and more constructive dialog
will be the path to follow.

I very much want to understand governance issues involved with DVCS but
as am an old man it will take some time to wrap my head around it.

It seems like Marin has jumped on the Incubation list and will follow in
the dialog. That is good too.

Best regards,
Arnulf.

Adrian,
Let me be clear that that is also how I look at it; I did not intend
to chase you away. I wanted to stop a discussion that seemed to
overheat while loosing sight on the actual initial intend: proposing
geotoolkit for incubation and a good discussion around that issue.
Ciao,
Jeroen

Adrian,
I am also very thankful for your contributions so far, and feel that you
have presented your views in a very logical way, focusing on the core
issues. To an observer there are obviously many sensitive issues at
stake, and for the most part, you have been very diplomatic. I'm sure
you could have phrased issues in more colourful language if you chose
to. It is a credit to you.

Like others, I'm watching this thread with interest. It is when we are
trying to solve the difficult, often painful problems, that we learn the
most.

I hope you stick around and continue to offer your insights.
