Hello friends of Marketcetera,
We are pleased to announce version 0.2 of the Marketcetera Platform,
an open-source financial trading system.
Version 0.2 adds Tradebase, a web-based trade and position reporting
application, to help manage and track trading activity.
Photon, our order-entry application, got a major upgrade with embedded
Ruby scripting and market data support to facilitate algorithmic
trading. And of course, the Order Management System now integrates
with a database to persist the executed trades to be managed through
Tradebase.
In addition, we made it all available as a VMWare appliance to make
trying the Marketcetera Platform out even faster and simpler.
As usual, Marketcetera Platform remains free, open-source software.
