Congratulations upon their 60th Wedding Anniversary to Alf Cadman and his lovely wife, Betty.

Alf "Roughouse" Cadman was a big TV star in his own right and also with his late brother Ken on the tag scene. Alf retired after breaking his neck during a bout with Billy Howes. Alf threw Billy Howes into the corner post and followed up with a flying head butt to the midriff. Unfortunately, Alf tripped on a tear in the canvas and collided with Howes, head at a very dangerous angle.

Alf drove home to Manchester, in lots of pain,and was diagnosed after X-ray a couple of days later.

Betty was professional dancer and actress and starred with top variety names including Ben Lyon and Bebe Daniels - now there's a couple of names for the old timers to remember.

Best wishes to the charming couple who still do everything and go everywhere together.
