Alan Boudreault has accepted the role of despot of UbuntuGIS.

Alan has already demonstrated strategic thinking on how to move
UbuntuGIS forward, leading many of the recent initiatives to improve
UbuntuGIS.

Welcome Alan, and I wish you all the best in the role.

All best wishes to Alan!
May I ask to upgrade grass on the repos?
Current version is quite old, and a number of bugs are popping out.
Thanks.

Hi,

Thanks Paolo :)

Grass is obviously an important package that need to be updated. That is
something that i need to do, determine which package (with priority) have to
be updated.

Thanks,
Alan

FWIW, 6.4.0rc4 should enter debian/testing in the next days, as soon
as some backlogged architectures get around to building it.

I am not sure if ubuntu prefers to draw directly from there or straight
from the DebianGIS package rules svn?

right now our modern Ubuntu slot is empty on the GRASS downloads page :(

Building it straight from the DebianGIS package rules svn sounds good to me.
