Built into a huge sweet chestnut tree on the edge of a wood, a substantial staircase leads you up to the luxurious accommodation. This is a thatched room with a double bed set between the tree branches and looking out through large glass doors to the tree tops. It has an en-suite shower room bathed in light from the glass roof and covered with hand made mosaic tiles. A large balcony with swing seats makes for a very special experience.

All rooms have double beds with fine cotton sheets, tea and coffee making facilities with homemade biscuits, TV. And a hairdryer. The en-suite bath/shower rooms have soft fluffy towels and hand made soaps.

Whichever room you choose to stay in, memorable breakfasts are served in the heated conservatory with its old stone walls or outside in the walled garden in good weather. The finest ingredients are used; organic free-range eggs, quality bacon and sausages, home made preserves and good tea and coffee. Continental breakfasts, vegetarian or special diets can be catered for on request.

Note: The Tree House will be closed during adverse weather conditions and alternative accomodation offered, if available.

Things To Do: The Castle Cottage is in the middle of fabulous walking and cycling country with paths leading from the front door. Numerous public rights of way and the 80 mile long Southdowns Way are close.
