Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)

Whenever I added a cpu template to a device.cfg, the new graph shows up in the main mrtg directory listing page instead of the device page.

Any ideas?

Can you give more details.

  • What cfgmaker command are you running?
  • What is the template?
  • Are you running Native MRTG or with RRDtool, and if RRDtool, which frontend?
  • What exactly to you get?
  • What exactly do you expect to get?
  • Are you using any additional 3rd-party software (eg, indexmaker, routers2...) to create an index page?
  • What versions of the software are you using?

Otherwise, it is impossible for anyone to help you.

Steve

Sounds like you are using the --subdir=HOStNAME directive.  You need a
line like:

Directory[$target_name]: $directory_name

in your template.  $directory_name is a built-in variable constructed
from the --subdir directive.  $target_name is a local variable, so that
might be different the way you set up your templates.
