Hello to the crew of the first ship I ever sailed on. I hope you don't mind if I interlope in your berthing area. I have some pictures of the Nassua. The negatives (the opposite) of some of those on the site showing us on the mike boats coming into the well. I was on one of those boats taking pictures of our approach and had to smile when I saw someone had been doing the same from the ship. We might have caught each other in our pictures.
Anyway, I'd like to send them along as Andy said he'd post them up, even if they are from a jarhead's point of view. Except I'm a little behind the times regarding PC technology. Is a scanner the required equipment to effect a digitialization of chronochrome?
As for my forum name, I embarssed to have to use it since "Jim" is taken and I lack the imagination to be more clever.
Maybe I'll change it to "plain ol Jim".
