A custom members folder get readded every time a user logs in

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
I have made a custom members folders, it has several extra fields, among them an image field that resizes the uploaded image and creates PIL sizes.
Should/could this be done with metadata TTW instead.

The problem with my custom type is that every time a user logs in a new folder is created in /Members. Could this be a wrong workflow on that folder (single state workflow)

The first thing is to provide related code.

Sorry for not defining my questions properly:

1) Is it "wrong" to make a custom Member-type folder?

2) If not, is it sure that the readding is because of the content type? (or could it be a workflow issue (single state workflow,  (or something else))
