<SoulEmber> Manu has his leather jacket zipped up, trying to keep the light sprinkle of snow currently falling from getting to his t-shirt. As he walks along to his intended destination, a bar known as The Tankard, he can't help but indulge the youth in him. He tries to catch a few flakes of snow on his tongue, not really caring how crazy this act may make him appear. You only live once, right? Once satisfied with what he's caught, he collects his bearings. The Tankard, not the cleanest bar in the city by any means, is just across the street. Toby promised to meet him there today, and Manu didn't want to be late. As he walks through the door, he dusts the snow off himself and looks around for Toby.

<Toby> Sitting at one of the corner tables with his feet propped up atop it, the young todd was seemingly alone, absent-mindedly sipping on a tankard of beer whilst looking about with those ice blue orbs of his. Hearing someone walk in, he looks over to the door and smiles, waving over at Manu and gesturing for him to come over. Toby was dressed in black jeans, a black shirt, and a black leather trenchcoat, as well as his standard combat boots. He seemed well-adapted to the cold weather, not even seeming to mind that the window next to him was drafty. In fact, the fox never seemed to be bothered by much anyways.

<Nakarumi> Two days had passed since Naka had been over at Toby's apartment. He ended up staying there that night and they never did make it to Toby's shop the following day either. However, given the circumstances that wasn't an issue that existed on Naka's mind. Today was just another ordinary day though. Naka had returned to his even moreso seemingly desolate place of residence yesterday afternoon and was very grateful to have been given the coal that Toby gave him from their initial meeting. The rest of that day - being yesterday - was spent daydreaming. Today, there wasn't much planned but to hopefully get up with Toby again and talk about the job offer. It was becoming a matter of necessity to have some time of money flow soon otherwise Naka would be out of house and home. Maybe a drink would be a good idea for right now to ease his troubled mind. With that notion, Naka made his way towards the only bar in town, The Tankard. (I'll enter the actual bar on my next post.)

<SoulEmber> Manu quickly locates Toby waving him over, and starts to make his way over. He does a quick scan to see who else is in the bar. It looks like Toby has decided to go with a black theme with his clothes. As he slides in to a seat across from Toby, he can't help but crack a small joke. "Dressed for a funeral, I see. I'd probably need a few drinks myself if I were going to one," he says, smiling to show he's just joking around. He notices that the window near Toby has a draft of cold air leaking through. "Looks like they might need to fix that," he says absentmindedly.

* Toby chuckles and shrugs some. "So how's it going, Manu? Did you check out some of the places I showed you?" He takes another swig of his beer, licking his lips. He leans back in his chair a little more and takes his feet off of the table, smiling some as he looks at Manu, awaiting the response. He was also thinking about a certain tiger in the back of his mind, wondering how -he- was doing.

<Nakarumi> Naka found the bar with no issues. Not like it was his first time there. With his red tank top under his black leather jacket and blue jeans long enough to cover his tennis shoes, Naka entered the bar with his face nearly buried in his coat. The cold temperatures were really getting ot him today even though it was much warmer at his own house today. Naka didn't even take note of who was there and made a B-line to the bar. "A white russian... warm." There wasn't much left to spend but Naka wasn't too bad about paying his tab off.
