Wally, a ball player has a bit of pride about himself. We went to the park every day for 162 games and did the best we could do. We had a good hitting team and we scored a lot of runs. We lost 51 games in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings. If we would have had a long relief man, a short one and a closer like they have today G-d only knows where we would have ended up.
