Rural Carriers who furnish vehicles should have a 30 minute base hour change added to every route just like the Rural Carriers that are furnished LLV's

WHY DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT
Because it is discrimination to have a class of Rural Carrier's who is expected to subsidize the Postal Service vehicle expenses

Point of Information: The 30 min. that LLV carriers get breaks down to 24 min per week for a daily safety inspection (only the city carrier in our office does this) and filling out repair tags when necessary plus 4.5 minutes per 100 route miles (with a 6 minute minimum) for refueling.

We need to refuel our vehicles more often because of the route miles even if the actual refueling is done off the clock, why shouldn't we get paid for doing it?  and the Postal Service wants us to be driving safe vehicles, why shouldn't we get paid for doing a daily inspection on them?  Like I say, in my office the LLV carriers are getting paid for doing nothing anyway.
