I am selling this truck now that the P.O. has provided me with an LLV!  It is a 1984 AM General RHD postal step van.  It has a 258ci I-6 engine.  Runs great, fires right off even in the cold.  Engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago, and I have put about 35,000 miles on it since then.  Oil changed every 2500 mi. / Transmission every 15,000.  New tires and brakes all the way around.  Has a mail tray and LOTS of cargo room.  Never had to make 2 trips!  Newly replaced items in the last year or two : Front leaf springs, battery, starter, water pump, radiator new set of lug nuts.  Also included are dual strobe lights and factory service manual.

Yes asking 3500.  I can take more pics tomorrow.  What would you like to see?  It's too dark tonight, but I will be able to take some shots of it tomorrow after work. Thanks,

Jamie

Hello, I thought I had put it in the ad but I probably forgot.  I am asking $3500.  If you would like any more info just give me a call, and I can tell you anything about it.

Thanks,

I am in need of a front leaf spring for one of the two 1984 FJ8Cs that I own and operate.  Could you provide me with the contact information for the new leaf springs that you purchased.  The part number and vendor contact info would be great.  Thanks.  Ron McNutt

I actually took it to a place called bucks spring in Fort Worth, Tx and had them fabricate custom springs.  It only cost me $170.00 per side(parts & Labor)  I didn't think that was too bad.  But if you want a lead on part numbers or where to get them, contact John Rose.  His email is [hidden email]   He is a full time postal jeep parts dealer.  I know he had a couple sets of the springs last year, but don't know what he has on hand now.  But he can definitely get any parts you want pretty quickly.
