1979 DJ5G with bad engine for parts

I have a 1979 DJ5G with a bad engine (Audi/Volkswagen 4 cyl.) for parts or the whole Jeep for sale.
It has all the rest of the parts left and was running when the engine quit. My wife was a rural carrier
for 18 years at the Odessa, FL post office, until she retired. We have had 5 postal jeeps, and this one
has the best steering box of them all. It also has the transmission, radiator, 4 good tires, mirrors,
a 3-row mail tray, and just about everything else.

I have an exhaust manifold for the four cylinder Audi engine with a 2-barrel carburetor, if that is

 

the one you need, for $40

Yes Ben, I believe I have two of them. You can have one for $30 or both for $50.

 

These are 2-bbl carbs for the 4-cyl Audi engine, if that is what you are looking for.

Sorry, I sold it awhile back. I will have a complete1977 DJ 5F with front disc brakes and 3-row tray for sale pretty soon, if you might be interested.

Yes I do, in fact I have the whole Jeep, minus a few parts. Do you have the 4-cyl Audi engine?

 

This Jeep also has a very tight steering box, good tires, etc. I can make you a good deal on

 

the whole Jeep, and I have a spare transmission that I will throw in with the deal. Please let

 

me know ASAP as I am moving in two weeks.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I sold that one a while back. It's too bad because,

 

it had one of the tightest steering boxes I have seen. I have a 1977 DJ 5F that

 

I am trying to get running. If I don't get it going, I will let you know. It has a pretty

 

steering box, and disc brakes on the front.
