Hello,

We'd be happy to discuss the idea.  In the past, several people have
created Audacity spinoff programs, sometimes hiring Audacity developers to
help.

But before we go any further, do you realize that any program which uses
any code from Audacity or links to it must be released under the terms of
the General Public License (i.e. it must be open-source)?  This might be
totally fine, but I wanted to make sure you were aware...

Also, it's not clear to me whether you're looking for a server-based
program, a web-based application (Java?  Flash?  ActiveX?), or a
client-side application that works in conjunction with a website.  What
specifically are the back end and front end?
