Summary: Change Tempo does not work well with multiple clips
           Product: Audacity
           Version: CVS Trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Effects
        AssignedTo: audacity-bugs@...
        ReportedBy: meyer@...

A thread in the German forum (http://www.audacity-forum.de/thread/2493) points
out that the "Change Tempo"/"Speed" etc. effect group does not behave well with
multiple clips.

There are at least two anomalies:

1. When you do "Change Tempo" on a track which has multiple clips, the clips are
merged into one clip.

2. When you do "Change Tempo" and have two clips with different starting times,
each on a separate track, the clips are shortened by "Change Tempo", but the
second clip does not move backwards to account for the faster speed.
