Summary: exception on playback of more that 38 tracks
           Product: Audacity
           Version: CVS Trunk
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: General
        AssignedTo: audacity-bugs@...
        ReportedBy: edam@...

With Audacity 1.3.3-beta

After importing 38 tracks in to a new project, playback works ok. Import a 39th
track and playback causes an unhandled exception dialog to pop up. The same
happens if you initially import 39 tracks.

Other details that may be relevant:
- The imported tracks were stereo 16-bit 44kHz WAVs (originally saved from
Audacity).
- Oppening 39 tracks whose total filesize was less than the 38 that crashed
above still crashed, which perhaps indicates it's to do with the number of
tracks, rather than memory?
