Running Ubuntu I was able to repeat a similar bug, where the escape press did
not cause a crash immediately, but when re-opening the equalization effect
dialog, a mouse press on the curve dragger caused a Segmentation Fault. At
first, with the latest stable (AUDACITY_1_2 label) version, I could get it to
happen pretty much every time. With the latest code version it happened much
more infrequently, but would still happen eventually.

So my steps were:

- Open a sound file
- Select a segment of the waveform

Repeat:

- Click on Effect/Equalization...
- Left click and move the eq curve
- While the left mouse button is depressed tap the keyboard escape key

Until:

- Click on Effect/Equalization...
- Left click on the eq curve
-> Segmentation Fault
