OS: Windows 2000

Hi

I think I have found a problem in Audacity 1.3.0-beta.  In the selection
toolbar at the bottom of the Audacity window, whenever I try to select
the "Length" radio button (instead of the "End" radio button), Audacity
freezes straight away (and it looks like both radio buttons are
selected).  I have done it a few times to check it was consistent.  I
tried clicking the radio button both when I had a selection, and when I
didn't have any selection.  I also tried it with different music files.
The only way to quit Audacity is then to use the Task Manager to
force-quit it.

I hope this is helpful, if I can tell you anything else please let me
know.  Audacity is a brilliant program, I was amazed when I tried it out.

Also, I tried to visit this page to check for existing bugs, and it
produced a Server 500 error:

Thank you for this report, unfortunately on my XP system I cannot replicate the
problem , it works perfectly for both a selection and cursor. I cannot see what
else you can try except rebooting, or uninstalling and reinstalling audacity and
seeing if it clears.  If you want to try this and it is still a problem please
write back and I will pass it to  the developers
